Itinerary Description

Rajputana, now known as Rajasthan, is a legendary land of former kingdoms and noble traditions. Until 1947, it was ruled by Maharajas, Rajas, Ranas, and Rawals, whose tales of heroism, chivalry, and sacrifice still echo through the countryside. The rugged landscape is dotted with magnificent forts that stand as sentinels over the land, evoking images of warriors ready for battle. Many of these royal families have opened their homes to visitors, offering a glimpse into a bygone era that was both glorious and romantic. This three-week journey takes you through the vibrant colors of the desert state, visiting the great kingdoms and small principalities where the old ways still live on. Experience the enduring respect and loyalty that the former royals command, and witness the remnants of an era steeped in tradition and splendor.
