This itinerary, tracing the Buddha's path, offers an unparalleled journey through these sacred places.
From the place he was born - Lumbini (Nepal), to the place where he attained enlightenment – Bodhgaya (India), every destination echoes his profound legacy.
Experience Sravasti, Lumbini, Kushinagar, Vaishali, Patna, Rajgir, and Varanasi, each holding deep significance in Buddha's life and teachings. The theology of Buddhist devotion emphasises personal enlightenment and the pursuit of peace. For thousands of years, these sites have been revered by millions worldwide.

Day 01: Arrive Delhi: Arrival in Delhi
Day 02: Travel to Sravasti: Fly to Lucknow, drive to Sravasti, visit Saheth, Maheth, Angulimal’s Cave
Day 03: Drive to Lumbini (Nepal): Drive to Lumbini, cross the border into Nepal
Day 04: In Lumbini: Explore Lumbini, visit the Sacred Garden, Maya Devi Temple, and other temples
Day 05: Travel to Kushinagar: Drive to Kushinagar, cross from Nepal to India, visit Mahaparinirvana Temple and Buddha’s cremation site
Day 06: Drive to Patna via Vaishali: Drive to Patna with a stop at Vaishali, visit Ashokan Pillar, Buddha’s Stupa, Vishwa Shanti Stupa
Day 07: Drive to Rajgir via Nalanda: Drive to Rajgir, stop at Nalanda, visit ruins of ancient university, visit Venuvana
Day 08: Travel to Bodhgaya: Drive to Bodhgaya, visit Gridhakuta hill (Vulture Peak)
Day 09: In Bodhgaya: Visit Mahabodhi Temple, Bodhi Tree, monasteries built by pilgrims from other countries
Day 10: Drive to Varanasi: Drive from Bodhgaya to Varanasi, evening aarti at Dasashwamedha Ghat (optional)
Day 11: In Varanasi: Early morning boat ride on the Ganges, guided walk in Kashi, visit Deer Park in Sarnath
Day 12: Varanasi – Delhi: Fly back to Delhi, onward journey
